Provide high-quality supervision, care, and enrichment for school-age children in a safe, engaging, and supportive afterschool environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote academic support, social development, physical activity, creativity, and positive peer relationships. Foster independence, responsibility, and leadership while maintaining a structured and welcoming classroom atmosphere.

Safely transport children to and from local schools and approved field trip locations while adhering to all licensing requirements, company transportation policies, and vehicle safety procedures. Conduct required vehicle inspections, maintain accurate transportation documentation, and ensure the safety of all children during loading, unloading, and travel.

Support the daily operations of the center by assisting with food preparation, cooking, serving nutritious meals, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for children and staff. Follow all USDA, licensing, and health department guidelines for food handling, sanitation, meal preparation, and kitchen safety while ensuring meals and snacks are served on schedule.

Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies, monitoring inventory, and notifying leadership when items need to be restocked. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, food preparation equipment, and other assigned facility spaces through routine cleaning and sanitization.

Provide additional support throughout the center as needed, including assisting classrooms during meal service, setting up and breaking down meal areas, laundering classroom linens, restocking supplies, and helping maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility.
